| I would not pay that unless all of the major maintenance was recently completed. New tires, brakes and 120k maintenance, etc. From the pics, it looks like the T-top shades are missing, and with the left side of the driver's seat excluded, there is probably the typical bolster wear. Personally I'd pay 9k tops if it were the color I wanted. If the seller would agree to say $8500, I would offer a deposit to hold the car with the agreement that I would purchase pending a satisfactory inspection from an independent garage. Before making this offer I would call one of the places recommended here and ask if they would accommodate. I'd use frequent flier miles, otherwise I would account for travel and lodging expenses, as well as shipping/transportation. If you end up spending another thousand then another option would be to adjust your price ceiling and get a lower mileage garage queen locally. If you are breaking your budget (I think you posted 8-10k) because you really really want this one and you have to have it and it's perfect... Patience will only help you in buying a Z. Is this your 1st choice in color? Since you are willing to pay this much for a Z with 100k+ miles, you will be able to find what you want. I am not implying that you are paying too much, but that at your price range you have plenty of choices. The next bracket up for a stock Z would be < 100k miles. Good Luck!
